Accessibility at AskMyBusiness

Every visitor should be able to ask a business a question, including visitors who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard, or reduced motion. Here is where we stand, plainly.

What the assistant does today

The chat window is built so that assistive technology works with it, not around it. Answers are announced to screen readers as they arrive. Every control (send, speak, start over, jump to latest) carries a spoken label. The whole window operates from a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator, and it honors your device's reduced-motion setting.

We test against WCAG 2.1 AA, the standard most accessibility guidance points to. As of September 2026, automated WCAG 2.1 AA scans of the chat window and our site pages report zero violations. Automated scanning does not catch everything a human tester would, so we treat that as a floor, not a finish line.

What we don't claim

We do not claim a certification, because none exists to claim. We do not claim perfection. Some checks, like how the experience feels to a daily screen-reader user, only a person can judge, and we want to hear from that person.

Found something that falls short?

Tell us: ryan@visiongenesisai.com. Accessibility problems get treated like broken features, because that's what they are.
